Call for Expression of Interest (EOI) Youth Dialogue Forum on Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Development – 2026
The Kenya National Commission for UNESCO (KNATCOM) is the focal point for all UNESCO affairs in Kenya, fostering peace and sustainable development through intellectual collaboration and dialogue. Through its Culture Programme, KNATCOM promotes the protection, preservation, and transmission of cultural heritage, while fostering creativity and the diversity of cultural expressions.
2026 National Dialogue Forum
KNATCOM will host a National Youth Dialogue Forum/Workshop in commemoration of
African World Heritage Day on 5th May 2026.

- Presentations on cultural heritage protection, safeguarding, and conservation
- Cultural performances
- Guided tours to World Heritage Sites
- Conservation activities at heritage sites
- Discussions on promoting Kenyan identity and national unity
Call for Applications
KNATCOM invites eligible youth to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI).
Eligibility Criteria
- Kenyan youth aged 35 years and below
- Demonstrated passion for culture and heritage
- Willingness to undertake cultural heritage projects
- Willingness to stay in shared accommodation
- Commitment to volunteer in heritage conservation
Added Advantage: Youth engaged in cultural heritage or peacebuilding initiatives
