Social And Human Sciences Programme

The programme fosters inclusive growth in the society through the promotion of inclusive policies and best practice. Further, the programme enhances understanding of contemporary challenges and helps society to respond more effectively by delivering on the goals set by United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the African Union (AU) Agenda 2063 and Kenya’s National Development Goals. The programme conducts research, capacity building, organizes sensitization forums, shares knowledge and supports in the development of policies that support sustainable development. The programme advances knowledge, builds capacities of institutions and individuals. The programme works with a wide array of partners and networks to support the implementation of activities. The programme leverages on existing expertise within the Commission and broadens its networks by working with relevant policy makers.
