Mr. Abraham Ondeng’ is a seasoned public administrator with over 23 years of progressive experience in public sector management and administration. He currently serves as Senior Deputy Secretary in the Administration Directorate at the National Treasury, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing key national programs, including the Government Motor Vehicle Leasing Programme.
He holds a Master of Arts in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI). His academic background is complemented by numerous professional trainings, both locally and internationally, that have enriched his expertise in governance, public sector reform, and strategic leadership.
Mr. Ondeng’ has also served as an Alternate Director in several key institutions, including the Kenya Yearbook Editorial Board, the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Authority, and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), where he has contributed to national policy development and institutional strengthening. A recipient of the Order of the Grand Warrior (OGW), Mr. Ondeng’ is widely respected for his integrity, strategic acumen, and commitment to efficient public service delivery.
