The nation’s cultural diversity and makes Kenya a regional culture melting pot. Each of the 42 nation’s indigenous communities who make up Kenyan population of about 40 million, has its own unique language, practices, staple food, dress, dance and music.

UNESCO believes that no development can be sustainable without a strong culture component.
